Single Stage dust collection has been part of the woodworking industry for many decades. It does not seem to matter where they are made, or by who….all have been built with similar features and performance. While cyclonic dust collection has gained traction in the last decade and can offer some unique advantages at a much higher investment, there is still a very large market segment where single stage dust collection, just makes sense.
The new HR series of single stage dust collection by DustFX has been developed to be the most advanced single stage dust collectors available today. With extreme portability, extra strong frames, 2 micron or Hepa filtration, remote start/stop with timer functions and reversable dust inlets, the HR series is truly in a class of its own.
Power:
The smallest in the new DustFX HR series, yet delivering an impressive 830 CFM of suction, is our 1 HP TEFC 110-volt portable dust collector.
While maintaining a relatively quiet operation at just 74 decibels, the precision spin-balanced 9” steel impeller is shielded from dust for enhanced longevity and consistent performance over time.
The DCP100 models are the only models in the HR Series that do not include remote start/stop or reversing dust inlet direction. This is because the 1 HP models are designed to operate one machine at a time with a 10’ section of 4” hose. No need for the extra costs of those two options that would not be utilized on this size model.
Portability:
True to the new HR Series design, The DCP100 model sets itself apart from any competitor with Its rugged, custom-designed, rigid steel frame which will ensure long-term durability, and especially the huge 12” rubber wheels to provide exceptional mobility around your shop. There is no floor surface the HR series cannot transverse with ease.
Filtration:
Filtration is where this unit truly excels. Available in two options, the CWI-DCP100 is equipped with cloth 2-micron upper filter bag, it captures 100% of particles at 2 micron and larger, helping maintain cleaner air around the shop. For even finer filtration, the CWI-DCP100-H offers a 15” diameter X 19” tall HEPA H13 canister filter to provide collection of 99.97% of all particles larger than .33 of a micron. The canister filter also features a manual spin handle with inside paddles to clean the filter. Always clean the filter after every use.
The reusable cloth lower collection bag includes a convenient viewing window and offers a generous 57-litre dust capacity, reducing downtime for emptying.
Additional features include a standard 4” main dust inlet for compatibility with common shop tools and CSA-certified electrics for peace of mind.
