CWI Woodworking Technologies has now introduced the most advanced series of automatic cleaning, exceptional performance cyclone dust collection, with Hepa filtration. Features abound including remote start/stop with timer, self cleaning filter, larger capacity self sealing, “lift up” dust drums, magnetic connect negative pressure dust bag holder, larger easy move locking rubber wheels, noise reduction filter enclosures, and safety lighting.
Performance:
The CWI-DCP620H-AC with 2HP 220-volt TEFC Industrial Duty Cycle motor paired with a balance-machined 12.5″ impeller, produces an impressive 1,706 CFM of airflow for efficient dust and chip extraction across multiple woodworking applications. The cyclone design separates larger debris before it reaches the filter, helping maximize airflow and extend filter life.
Filtration:
When the machine is powered down, the HEPA Auto-Clean Canister Filter runs through two automatic cleaning cycles, one in each direction, minimizing filter maintenance while maintaining consistent performance. It captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns and 100% of particles .5 micron and larger, making it an excellent choice for workshops where superior air filtration is essential. A reusable plastic lower collection bag on the canister further simplifies maintenance and reduces ongoing operating costs.
The entire filtration area of the machine is enclosed with metal hinged doors to provide even more noise reduction, creating a machine running at less than 78 decibels.
Dust Collection:
Dust and chips are collected in an extra large 170-litre, (45 US Gallon) direct-mount “lift up” dust collection drum, with a magnetic connect, negative pressure dust bag positioner. Having the dust drum lift off the floor eliminates the concerns of uneven floors or other causes of poor dust drum sealing to the cyclone. This ensures better, consistent suction and dust free performance. The drum utilizes a large replaceable plastic bag to collect the dust and chips and is held in place with the negative pressure connection until dust weight kicks in. The drum also features a viewing window to monitor dust levels as well as two large handles to assist in emptying the drum.
The collector also features an 6” diameter dust inlet for running a ducted shop or three 4-inch dust inlets, allowing for flexible machine connections, portability or the use of blast gates within a dust collection system.
Convenience:
Designed with convenience and ease of operation in mind, the unit includes a Remote Start/Stop control with an integrated Timer Function, allowing you to operate the collector from anywhere in your shop and set it to continue running after machinery is turned off to clear remaining airborne dust. The machine is portable too by use of 3” lockable rubber wheels (not casters) allowing simple easy movement even on rough floor surfaces.
With operator safety in mind, the auto clean series also feature an integrated LED illumination system which provides instant recognition anywhere in the shop that power is on as well as improved visibility around the collection area during operation.
