What sets this Beaver 7″ Quick Release Front vise apart from others is the heavy cast iron frame and integral quick-release nut mechanism, designed for easy operation with one hand. Turn the handle counterclockwise to release and clockwise to re-engage.
It features a 1″ dia. steel single-lead Acme screws and double guide rods for smooth operation. The Beaver Front vise measures 7-1/4″ x 15.5″ and opens to 8″ depth. (maximum opening is less wooden jaw thickness).
Made in Europe, the Beaver Front Vise will enable you to incorporate a shop-made quick-release vise into your new woodworking bench or retrofit an existing one.
