This 14 piece CMT slot cutter set is great for making slots, grooves and rabbets in all materials. Ideal for biscuit joints and milling perfect tongue and groove joints. The set consists of 7 slot cutters with 5/16” bore in 5 different cutting sizes, four high-strength steel slot cutter ½” shank arbors, four sizes of bearings allowing for a cutting depth of 5/16-Inch, 3/8-Inch, 1/2-Inch or 9/16-Inch and a hex key. The 3-wing slot cutters feature super-strength superior steel body for great endurance and Sinter Hip Hi-Density Industrial Chrome Carbide cutters for a long-lasting performance. In addition they feature anti-kickback design which allows you to work safely and to control the depth of cut. Set is delivered in a practical plastic case. The various arbors allow for different configurations of end mounted, shaft mounted or stacked cutters to allow many different cutting applications. The cutters consist of one each in 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/32”, 5/32” and three ¼” cutters. Also included is a hex key and plastic carry case.

Safety tips: never use these slot cutters set without shims between the cutters. The distance between the cutters can vary from 1mm (3/64″) to 1,7mm (1/16″). A shim must also be positioned between the ball bearings and the cutters.
