CMT “ITK” Industrial Thin Kerf Saw Blades

$13.95$99.95

CMT’s Industrial Thin Kerf Design (ITK) saw blades are ideal for crosscutting and ripping applications for lower powered saws or in applications that require a thinner cut. Since the blade removes less material it puts less strain on the blade and your saw. That translates into less heat build-up during the cut, so you’ll get more cuts between re-sharpening, and longer life from your blade.

Description

CMT’s Industrial Thin Kerf Design (ITK) saw blades are ideal for crosscutting and ripping applications for lower powered saws or in applications that require a thinner cut. Since the blade removes less material it puts less strain on the blade and your saw. That translates into less heat build-up during the cut, so you’ll get more cuts between re-sharpening, and longer life from your blade. These blades feature the finest micro-grain carbide teeth as well as all the other great ITK features, including Anti-Kickback Design, Tri-Metal Brazing, Precision Balancing, Laser Cut Arbors and carefully positioned Expansion Slots and Sound Dampening Channels. ITK blades also include CMT’s unique laser-marked safety instructions and complete, illustrated re-sharpening information.

The ITK blades are available in 6.5” to 12” diameters, with different tooth configurations and offer an excellent value to performance ratio for use of portable tools, miter saws, tables saws and more. The 250 series blades are for ripping thicker woods in 7.25” and 10” diameters, the 251 series are for general purpose finishing cuts in 7.25” to 12” diameters, the 253 series are for miter saw work in 8.25” to 12” diameters and the 256 series is a 10” combination blade for ripping and crosscutting applications. The 255 series is a 10” 80 tooth blade for fine cutting up to ¾” sheet goods and solid wood on a table saw. All of the ITK blades feature a combination of flat top and alternating top tooth angles for crystal clean cutting in most woods.
