Over the years, CMT in Italy has been making massive investments in the most advanced technology in CNC machining equipment and in innovative software to manufacture some of the best woodworking cutting tools in the world. The 811 and 812 series two flute straight cutting pattern bits are available in ¼ inch shank or ½ inch shank and come with a bearing mounted to the shank of the bit to allow cutting patterns.

These razor-sharp, double-faced cutters perfectly synthesize the characteristics and advantages that define quality CMT products. Made of special Fatigue Proof® steel and micro-grain carbide, CMT straight bits can withstand even the heaviest work load and still give you a smooth, precise cut every time. You also get exceptional chip ejection to allow cleaner and more constant cutting. The surface of all CMT bits, unless solid carbide, is protected with our trademark orange non-stick PTFE to help keep the bit from collecting resin, pitch and other residue. Every bit is submitted to strict quality tests to guarantee perfect cutting tolerance, balance and concentricity. CMT bits allow production on an industrial scale using a variety of plywood, composites and natural woods. Simply choose the diameter and cutting length you need. Please note the bearings range from ½ inch to ¾ inch in diameter so the 5/16” and 9/16” bits will have a larger diameter bearing than the cutter diameter.
