Pfeil uses only the finest Swiss alloy tool steel. Blades are heat treated individually, using the latest technology, and are expertly ground on all sides with a 25° main bevel on the cutting edge. White beech handles with steel ferrules were chosen for beauty and improved control and comfort. However, there is something different about these Beveled Edge Chisels! The side bevel is swept back towards the centerline as opposed to being parallel. This design permits the blade being used in some pretty tight places, such as cleaning up dovetails, plus we think it just plain looks good while also being functional.
