The Pfeil short bent Skew Chisels are made especially for completing fine detail work. They combine the spoon curvature, helpful in accessing tight spots, with the point of a skew, to make deep, detailed corners. The skew element helps these tools shear through grain with ease. As seen in the attached pictures the carver simply picks the width of blade and whether a right hand or left hand skew will be required for the best results in the project.
