The SignMeister V4.8K is the ultimate CNC Router for sign manufacturing applications.

The new SignMeister V4.8K is designed by CWI Woodworking Technologies with the addition of an Oscillating Knife System, designed specifically for working with plastics, cardboard, foam and other medium density materials.

The new SignMeister V4.8K is a multi-functional CNC machine for sign makers featuring a CNC Router, Oscillating Knife System and CCD Camera. It integrates all the functions of an Italian HSD Spindle & Oscillating Knife System, combining the functions of two machines in one for a more economical and efficient CNC. The Oscillating Knife system is designed specifically for accurate cutting of flexible materials like rubber, carpet, KT Board, thick foam, sponge, corrugated cardboard/hardboard, polypropylene hollow sheet, foot pad, leather, cork and other medium density materials.

The addition of the CCD Camera on “The Knife CNC” allows the ability of automatic edge tracing with the use of marking dots allowing the machine to scan, detect, and recognize printed contours or pick up printed registration marks and cut the chosen designs with fast speed and high accuracy. This system ensures the accuracy of the finished cut is perfect and smooth.

The SignMeister V4.8K adopts a very advanced control system which features the advantage of combining two control systems in one. The comprehensive PC Terminal Interface allows the operator to toggle between systems with ease on a 27” monitor perched on a movable control center.
