This European made “Deluxe” model Beaver Workbench is designed especially for woodworkers looking for a very strong bench but are limited in workspace. Made of very high quality European Beech hardwood gives this bench a quality of very high durability and a long service life. The large top is 1 5/8″ thick which adds to its weight and, therefore, its great working stability and offers an apron that is 4 3/4” thick and features two cast iron acme screw vises. The jaws of the front vise 15.5″” wide and the end vise is a full 22” wide for extra large work piece strength. The 59” x 27.5″” work area includes twenty ¾” bench dog holes and has a trough at the back of the bench for holding tools etc. There are four round steel dogs included with the bench. The vises will add and extra 6.25” to the length and width of the top in the closed position. The table top surface sits at a very comfortable working height of 34” and the bench itself weighs in at 143 lbs plus the vises.

This bench offers great strength and rigidity and is designed with the smaller shop in mind but still for heavy duty uses for years to come.
