The Beaver Quick Release 9″ heavy duty steel woodworking vise is made in Europe specifically for those looking for a high quality vise for school, commercial or home shop applications. This vise is made for school use but of course can be used for home made or shop built work benches.
This cast iron vise offers a 9.25″ jaw width with an 14″ opening and is supplied with non-marring wooden plates for the jaws. To open and close the vise quickly is accomplished with a simple turn of the main thread screw handle to the vertical position releasing the thread lock bolt. Then simply re engage the thread lock bolt by revolving the steel handle once again. There is also a steel bench dog included with the vise.
