The CMT Orange Tool brand is known throughout the world’s woodworking community as the premium brand of woodworking cutting tools. With the CMT 835 series rabbeting bits you can produce inset doors and drawer fronts, make strong rabbet joints, mill perfectly-matching tongue and groove joints and much more! You can also use this tool to re-groove old window frames and accept insulated glass panels. This bit features super-strength superior steel body, Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating and cutting edges made of SinterHip Hi-Density Industrial Chrome Carbide for a long-lasting performance. The CMT rabbeting bits are available individually in either 1/4 inch or ½ inch shanks or also in sets that include multiple bearings for varying depths of rabbets.

The CMT GRAND rabbeting bit set allows you to make an endless number of cuts by adjusting the cutting height on your router and changing the bearing on the bit. The Grand set includes one rabbeting bit and sixteen different bearing collar sizes to accomplish seventeen different cutting depths of 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16”, 15/64”, ¼”, 5/16”, 23/64”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 15/32”, ½”, 9/16”, 19/32”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 23/32”, ¾”, and flush trim. The router bit features a shear cutting action with a 7/8” cutting height and a ½ inch shank.
