With the CMT 835 series rabbeting bits you can produce inset doors and drawer fronts, make strong rabbet joints, mill perfectly-matching tongue and groove joints and much more! You can also use this tool to re-groove old window frames and accept insulated glass panels. This bit features super-strength superior steel body, Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating and cutting edges made of SinterHip Hi-Density Industrial Chrome Carbide for a long-lasting performance. The CMT rabbeting bits are available individually in either 1/4 inch or ½ inch shanks or also in sets that include multiple bearings for varying depths of rabbets.

These rabbeting sets allow you to make an endless number of cuts by adjusting the cutting height on your router and changing the bearing on the bit. Each set includes one rabbeting bit and six different bearing sizes to accomplish seven different cutting depths of 1/8”, ¼”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, ½” and flush trim. The bits are available in either ½” or ¾” cutting height. Simply chose the shank size and cutter height required for your project.
