The CMT “Orange Chrome” 203 series industrial heavy duty glue line rip blade makes an exceptional job of making clean mirror finish rip cuts in solid woods up to 2” thick. Manufactured in Germany the plates of these blades are laser cut with expansion slots to help run cool in the cut but the slots are also filled with special material to dampen the vibration and noise. The plates are then chrome coated for improved plate hardness and less friction for improved life. With less friction the blade will develop less heat and by running cooler there will be less pitch build up allowing the saw blade to stay sharp longer. The carbide teeth are 3.2mm wide and 8mm tall with a triple chip or “roof top” grind for extra-long life of sharpness. The 10” x 30 tooth blade has a 5/8” bore with teeth set on a 12 degree hook angle.
