Used on CNC routers for flat machining surfaces these CMT Carbide Insert Spoilboard cutters are ideal for fast removal of material over a large surface area leaving a clean finish at the bottom of the cut. Used on soft and hard woods, particle board and specifically for cleaning MDF spoilboards used on nested base and smaller flat table CNC routers. The router bit utilizes 4-sided solid carbide inserts which are very much a cost effective solution compared to brazed router bits and solid carbide spiral bits. We offer three sizes of spoilboard cutters depending on the size of the CNC router and the power of its spindle. The 80 mm cutter utilizes 20mm shank and the and 60mm diameter has a 12mm shank and are perfect for larger CNC routers. The 1.5” diameter cutter with a ½” shank is ideal for bench top and small floor model CNC routers. Each bit has its own recommended rotation speed and feed rate depending on the power of the router spindle.
