This excellent kit includes an 8″ DuoSharp®plus™ Bench Stone which is a two sided fine/coarse Innovative, precision flat sharpener which features both interrupted and continuous diamond sharpening as well as a handy bench stone holder with rubber feet. Use the interrupted surface for larger tools and faster stock removal while using the continuous diamond stone area for small and pointed tools. This stone offers the best of both worlds for sharpening your tools and knives for both higher stock removal as well as small tool repair. Use the coarse side of the stone for the fastest stock removal to bring the tool back to the correct edge and then flip the stone over to use the fine grit to get the perfect sharp edge on your tool. Two tools in one…and because this unique stone has both interrupted and uninterrupted diamond surfaces you actually have four tools in one!!

Grit Descriptions:

Fine diamond stone (25 micron / 600 mesh) for a razor sharp edge.

Coarse diamond stone (45 micron / 325 mesh) to quickly restore a neglected edge.
