750-Watt 110 Volt Variable Speed Motor

The Rivolver CWI-WL225 is powered by a 7.4-amp, 750-watt (1 HP) DC motor, with two speed ranges infinitely variable from 250 to 1300 rpm and 450 to 3450 rpm. There is a convenient forward and reverse switch to allow the user to reverse the rotation of the spindle for sanding operations and special cuts.

Enhanced Control Systems

The smartly designed PCB controller on this lathe allows for stop/start functions, simple, smooth variable speed adjustments as well as forward reverse functions with the flip of a switch and a digital speed read out to always know the speed you need.

Compact Design

With a swing over the bed of 12” and a generous distance for a compact lathe of 20” max spindle length, this lathe offers more possibilities in a larger range of projects to be accomplished.

Versatile Drive System

The headstock on the CWI-WL225 is a standard 1” x 8 TPI external thread with a #2 morse taper spindle inside. These standard sizes easily allow for many standard faceplates, chucks, and centers.  The tailstock also allows for #2 morse taper accessories. Included on both headstock and tailstock are convenient metal handwheels for simple tooling changes and mounting of the work piece.

The Rivolver CWI-WL225 comes complete with a 3” faceplate, #2 Morse Taper four prong drive spindle, precision ball bearing driven center and a heavy duty 6” tool rest with 1” post.
